How I arrived at RWM
"I spent many years in federal government financial consulting but in 2010 my interest shifted toward the personal financial planning profession after helping my parents navigate their unique planning needs. It was clear that despite my finance education, there was a disconnect between the corporate finance taught in universities and personal finance, which still remains largely neglected at all levels of education. This realization inspired me to energetically pursue personal study, an MBA, and obtain my CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certification. I also recognized that since our most important asset is time, I wanted to dedicate my professional life to collaborating with colleagues who share my passion for guiding clients toward achieving their life goals. Like many teammates at Ritholtz Wealth Management, I discovered the firm's engaging content through its writing and podcasts; particularly impactful was the Animal Spirits podcast hosted by Michael and Ben, whose genuine approach to personal finance and investing deeply resonated with me. Im fortunate to now have the opportunity to share my enthusiasm for personal financial planning with clients at RWM."
Favorite part of the job
"What makes me truly passionate about financial planning is the opportunity to forge meaningful relationships with my clients. I see myself as a humble steward, privileged to walk alongside each client, helping them thoughtfully navigate and enhance the next chapters of their journey through the financial planning process. My greatest reward in this profession comes in creating a well-crafted plan that brings clarity and peace and allows clients to feel confident about their financial future, freed from anxiety about market fluctuations and empowered to focus on what matters most in their lives."
When I’m Not Working
"Outside of work, I deeply value spending quality time with my family, whether we’re exploring new places together or simply enjoying relaxed moments at home. I'm grateful for a wonderful circle of friends who enrich my life with shared experiences. I also have a passion for photography, sports, and my faith."
